poetry

Poems date back thousands of years ago and come from folks songs. Back then people would go from town to town to tell poetry. Poetry uses forms to suggest different to words or to bring out emotional responses. Devices such as assonance, alliteration, onomatopoeia and rhythm are sometimes used to get musical effects. The use of symbolism, irony and other bits of poetic words often leaves a poem open to multiple views. Similarly words of speech such as metaphor and simile
create a felling between otherwise different images a layering of meanings, forming connections previously not thought. Similar forms of poetry may exist between single verses in there patterns of rhyme or rhythm.
Some poetry types are specific to particular cultures and genres and relate to characteristics of the language that the poet writes in. There are also traditions such as Biblical poetry that use different ways to create rhythm. Lots modern day poetry shows poetic tradition playing with and testing, things the principle of poetry, sometimes not even having rhyme or a set rhythm. In todays  world poets often adapt their styles and techniques among the cultures and languages.

Song

Song is an amazing kind communication that uses sounds and words to create beautiful songs. A song is a single and often standalone work of music that is normally meant to be sung by a person with special and fixed pitches and patterns using sound and silence and a variety of forms that often include the repeating of sections. Written words made for music or for which music is mainly created are called lyrics. If a pre existing poem is set to made music in classical music it is an art song. Songs that are sung on repeated pitches without distinct contours and patterns that rise and fall are called chants. Songs in a easy style that are learned informally are often referred to as folk songs. Songs that are composed for professional singers who sell their recordings or live shows to a group of people are called popular songs. These songs which have broad appeal are often composed by professional songwriters composers and lyricists such as Eminem, BeyoncĂ©, Rhiana and Kanye. Art songs are composed by trained classical composers for concerts. Songs are performed live and recorded on audio or video . Songs may also appear in plays musical theatre, movies etc.

The Geography of accents

Hello everybody this is my Blog on the Geography of accents. This Blog will go over the different accents and where they originate from.

One popular accent is the British accent which is viewed as being posh this is mainly spoken in England with heavier or lighter accents ranging from where you live in the country. Received pronunciation is the closest to a normal accent that has ever existed in Britain. Although it originally comes from London English it is not regional.  You have probably heard this accent a lot of times in Jane Austen movies . It emerged from the 18th and 19th Century and has remained the best.

Another popular accent is the American accent this is mainly considered to be loud and obnoxious. This describes the Boston accent. It also refers to similar accents in Eastern Massachusetts Rhode Island Maine Eastern New Hampshire and Eastern Connecticut. The most important feature of this is Bostoners drop the r at the end of syllables.
